To help Lifemaxx modernize its digital landscape, we developed a digital strategy with a clear roadmap. The goal was to streamline processes, integrate systems, and enable scalable growth.
Lifemaxx is a Dutch company specializing in professional fitness equipment and supplies gyms, health clubs, and corporate fitness centers across Europe. To support further growth and scalability, Lifemaxx engaged Quatronic to assess its digital maturity and develop a strategy to optimize processes and modernize systems.

The first step was a thorough analysis of the current situation: existing ways of working, processes, and systems in use. We conducted interviews with department heads across the organization. The key findings were:
Predominantly manual processes
Many day-to-day activities, such as order processing and financial checks, were carried out manually, leading to inefficiencies and an increased risk of errors.
Fragmented systems
There was no integration between the various tools, resulting in duplicated work and a lack of cross-departmental visibility.
Missing core systems
Essential digital tools, such as a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, Product Information Management (PIM), Warehouse Management System (WMS), and a ticketing/self-service platform, were absent.
Limited analytics & reporting
There was insufficient data-driven insight to make well-informed decisions and effectively monitor performance.

A five-year plan for digital growth
Our recommendation outlined the ideal future (“to-be”) situation and included a roadmap with concrete steps to realize the digital plan. To determine the best approach, we compared three scenarios based on key criteria: scalability, user experience (UX/UI), ease of implementation, cost, and fit with the business type.
1. Improving the current landscape
Integrating existing tools and workflows into a single, unified platform, and adding new systems only where functionality was missing.
2. All-in-one system
Implementing a single platform with built-in functionality for all business processes, minimizing the need for external applications.
3. Best-of-breed approach
Selecting the best, most specialized systems for each business function and integrating them with one another.
The result provides a clear direction to reduce manual work, improve data consistency, and create a scalable, future-proof operational foundation.
