Lifemaxx
Lifemaxx is a Dutch company specialized in professional fitness equipment, supplying gyms, health clubs, and corporate fitness centers across Europe. To support further growth and scalability, Lifemaxx asked Quatronic to assess their digital maturity and design a strategy to optimize their processes and modernize their systems.
The first step was to analyze the current situation in depth: the existing way of working, processes and systems involved. We held interviews with department leads across the whole organization. The key findings included:
Highly manual processes
Many daily operations like order creation or finance checks were performed manually, leading to inefficiencies and a high risk of errors.
Fragmented systems
No integration between tools, resulting in duplicated work and lack of visibility across teams.
Missing foundational systems
Lack of essential digital tools such as a CRM, Product Information Management (PIM), Warehouse Management System (WMS), and ticketing/self-service platform.
Limited analytics & reporting
Insufficient data insights for informed decision-making and performance tracking.
Quatronic delivered a comprehensive analysis of Lifemaxx’s end-to-end operations and future digital needs. To identify the most suitable solution, we compared three potential scenarios based on key criteria: scalability, user experience (UX/UI), customization, ease of implementation, costs, and fit with company size and operations.
1. Improving the current landscape
Integrating existing tools and workflows under a common platform, and adding extra systems only for the missing functionalities.
2. All-in-one system
Adopting a single platform with built-in functionalities for all the business processes.
3. Best-of-breed approach
Selecting the most specialized systems for each business function and connecting them through integration.
This structured comparison enabled Lifemaxx to make an informed, strategic decision about their digital roadmap. The outcome provides a clear direction for reducing manual work, improving data consistency, and building a scalable, future-proof operational foundation.
